Infrared Welding

HA | Technologies | Infrared Welding

Infrared Welding is the process of joining thermoplastic components with the use of quartz-glass infrared emitters. The surface of the plastic components are heated to a molten state then joined by being pressed together. The infrared process is a non-contact assembly method allowing for particle-free welding. Time and Power is controlled in this precise process resulting in flexibility for various materials and joint contours. For a complex product requiring precise control, choose infrared welding for your assembly method.
