Infrared Welding is the process of joining thermoplastic components with the use of quartz-glass infrared emitters. The surface of the plastic components are heated to a molten state then joined by being pressed together. The infrared process is a non-contact assembly method allowing for particle-free welding. Time and Power is controlled in this precise process resulting in flexibility for various materials and joint contours. Infrared Emitter Capabilities

      For infrared joining of components, HA Industries customizes the solution unique for each application. Using standard configured or shape-following contoured emitters, adjustability for fine tuning is key. Systems are optimized for complete and precise control. The heaters are a very high energy source capable of responding instantly to voltage changes, allowing for precise control.
