How infrared welding works......
opposing sets of controlled short wave-length infrared light emitters, arranged in the profile of the part to be assembled, apply time and power controlled heat to the 2 part halves to be assembled. The infrared emitters are then retracted and the 2 halves are pressed together.

Advantages.....
- no equipment preheating, INSTANT start-up
- low maintenance
- no part contact, no plastic sticking or tool cleaning
- more accurate heating of part
- hermetic seals obtainable
- reduced heat cycle times
- focused energy eliminates heat damage parts
- MUCH lower energy consumption
- DRAMATICALLY reduced air consumption and associated noise

Applications....
