Ultrasonic assembly is produced by converting high frequency energy into a mechanical motion (vibrations). This motion crates frictional heat in a concentrated area, which melts the plastic and forms a molecular bond. It is a fast, clean and efficient process used in a variety of applications where surface joining is required. HA Ultrasonic welding systems are used to join plastic to plastic, plastic to vinyl and plastic to metal on functional and decorative parts.
